Problem

Create a logo and system of four coffee bag labels for Hypergoat Coffee Roasters: a local, small-batch roaster seeking a distinctive visual identity that reflects its craft, energy, and community focus.

Solution

I approached my label designs with the concept of heavy metal music, due to its tight-knit community, distinctive visual style, and energetic nature. The designs capture energy with dynamic, gritty images and bright colors contrasted with black. I specifically chose imagery of metal bands from the flavors’ respective countries.
